Some pieces of sea glass stay in my collection for a while because I'm waiting for the right design.
This soft cornflower blue piece was one of them.
Naturally tumbled by the ocean over many years, it has a calm, fresh colour that reminds me of clear skies and the sea on a sunny day. I paired it with a sparkling sterling silver paperclip chain to give it a modern feel while letting the sea glass remain the centre of attention.
The pendant measures approximately 15 × 17mm and hangs from an 18-inch sterling silver paperclip chain that catches the light beautifully and feels comfortable enough to wear every day.
Turn it over and you'll find my signature three hand-stamped bubbles on the back, inspired by the ocean and the Booblinka Jewellery logo. Every necklace is handcrafted and finished by hand in my Newquay workshop before being hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
There will never be another piece exactly like this.

This pirate glass necklace is very special. It is well made. I don’t worry it might break like I do with some jewellery. The black against the gold is stunning. The necklace has an unusual, clever clasp decorated with a little jewel. It is really beautiful and I love wearing it.
The extra special and clever part for me is an opening link at the front that lets me change the pendant. I have a couple of gold charms I bought on holiday but never put on a bracelet so have never been able to wear.
I have been able to wear them on this chain which has made me very happy.

I love this ring. Made with a lovely chunky brushed silver band it feels high quality. The blue of the sea glass reminds me of blue seas on a sunny day.
The setting is just that satisfyingly bit different and quirky.
