This blue sea glass necklace in sterling silver and 9ct gold features a rare piece of deep blue sea glass, formed by the ocean and refined by hand in my Newquay studio.
The colour is strong and clear — a deeper blue that stands out straight away.
The Sea Glass
Each piece of sea glass is shaped over decades in the ocean.
The shape is refined by hand, creating a smooth shape that sits comfortably against the skin while keeping its natural character.
No two pieces are ever the same.
The Design
The sea glass is set in sterling silver with small 9ct gold details, adding warmth and contrast to the blue.
At approximately 10 × 15mm, it has a slightly longer shape, giving it more presence while still feeling balanced.
It sits on an 18-inch sterling silver snake chain, which keeps the look clean and close to the skin.

There is only one of these.
Once it’s gone, I won’t be able to replace this exact piece of sea glass.

I am falling in love with this jewellery. I love the idea of recycling sea glass. I have often picked it up and thought it was pretty. But, not knowing what to do with it, thrown it away.

This pirate glass necklace is very special. It is well made. I don’t worry it might break like I do with some jewellery. The black against the gold is stunning. The necklace has an unusual, clever clasp decorated with a little jewel. It is really beautiful and I love wearing it.
The extra special and clever part for me is an opening link at the front that lets me change the pendant. I have a couple of gold charms I bought on holiday but never put on a bracelet so have never been able to wear.
I have been able to wear them on this chain which has made me very happy.

I love this ring. Made with a lovely chunky brushed silver band it feels high quality. The blue of the sea glass reminds me of blue seas on a sunny day.
The setting is just that satisfyingly bit different and quirky.

We met Marketa in her workshop and picked out this fabulous piece. It's a paperclip sterling silver necklace with a light teal sea glass stone.
