Some pieces of jewellery are beautiful to look at. This one is just as lovely to touch.
This is one of my signature spinning necklaces, handmade in solid 9ct yellow gold and set with six natural diamonds.
At its centre is a smooth, solid gold bead that spins freely beneath your fingers. It has a wonderful weight to it, and once you start turning it, it's surprisingly hard to stop.
But there's something else I love about this necklace.
It has two completely different sides.
One side is beautifully simple, with a single diamond adding just a little sparkle. Turn the pendant over and you'll discover more diamonds, including three set directly into the spinning gold bead, inspired by the bubbles in my Booblinka Jewellery logo.
You can choose the side that suits you that day. Something subtle and understated, or a little more sparkle. I love that you don't have to choose just one look.
And if you choose the full necklace, it comes with a substantial 24-inch solid gold belcher chain and my handmade hinged charm holder. You can remove the spinning pendant, wear the chain on its own or add another pendant whenever you fancy a change.
It's one of those designs I'm particularly proud of. Beautiful materials, a little unexpected movement and details that make it so much more than an ordinary gold necklace.

What metals do you use?
All Booblinka Jewellery is made from solid gold (9ct–18ct) or sterling silver.
Is all your jewellery hallmarked?
All jewellery that requires hallmarking under UK law is independently hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
Is your sea glass jewellery one of a kind?
Yes. I use genuine sea glass, which means every piece is different. Some pieces are shaped by hand to suit the individual design.
Do you offer custom or bespoke jewellery?
Yes. I take on custom work, so it’s always worth getting in touch to discuss what you have in mind. Every piece I make is handcrafted by me in Cornwall, and I love creating something truly personal.

This pirate glass necklace is very special. It is well made. I don’t worry it might break like I do with some jewellery. The black against the gold is stunning. The necklace has an unusual, clever clasp decorated with a little jewel. It is really beautiful and I love wearing it.
The extra special and clever part for me is an opening link at the front that lets me change the pendant. I have a couple of gold charms I bought on holiday but never put on a bracelet so have never been able to wear.
I have been able to wear them on this chain which has made me very happy.

I love this ring. Made with a lovely chunky brushed silver band it feels high quality. The blue of the sea glass reminds me of blue seas on a sunny day.
The setting is just that satisfyingly bit different and quirky.
