This London blue topaz statement ring in sterling silver and 9ct gold is part of my Drop of the Ocean collection.
At the centre is an 8mm smooth topaz cabochon, set in silver. The surface is rounded rather than faceted, so the colour shifts as it catches the light — from brighter blue to deeper, almost inky tones.
The band is made from solid sterling silver with a 3mm D-shape profile, designed to feel smooth and comfortable on the finger.
On each side of the setting, small 9ct gold granules add a warm contrast against the silver.
The Stone
London blue topaz has a deeper tone than Swiss blue — richer, darker, and more layered in colour.
As you move your hand, the light changes how the stone appears.
It has presence, weight, and a strong colour that stands out without needing anything extra.

I am falling in love with this jewellery. I love the idea of recycling sea glass. I have often picked it up and thought it was pretty. But, not knowing what to do with it, thrown it away.

This pirate glass necklace is very special. It is well made. I don’t worry it might break like I do with some jewellery. The black against the gold is stunning. The necklace has an unusual, clever clasp decorated with a little jewel. It is really beautiful and I love wearing it.
The extra special and clever part for me is an opening link at the front that lets me change the pendant. I have a couple of gold charms I bought on holiday but never put on a bracelet so have never been able to wear.
I have been able to wear them on this chain which has made me very happy.

I love this ring. Made with a lovely chunky brushed silver band it feels high quality. The blue of the sea glass reminds me of blue seas on a sunny day.
The setting is just that satisfyingly bit different and quirky.
I’ve had compliments from people who’s eye it has caught so obviously not just me who loves this jewellery.
