This red sea glass necklace in solid 9ct gold features a rare piece of naturally tumbled sea glass, shaped and set by hand in my Newquay studio.
Red sea glass is one of the hardest colours to find. The tone is deep and warm, and in sunlight it almost glows.
The Sea Glass
Each piece of sea glass is formed over decades in the ocean.
This one is smooth, strong, and handshaped — with a colour that stands out without needing anything added to it.
No two pieces are ever the same.
The Design
The sea glass is set in a solid gold bezel with a closed back, keeping the focus on the colour and giving it a clean, balanced finish.
At approximately 6mm, it’s small but noticeable.
It sits on a 16-inch solid gold paperclip chain, designed to feel light and easy for everyday wear.
A small gold tag with my three bubbles and ‘B’ maker’s mark sits by the clasp.
One of a Kind
There is only one of these.
Once it’s gone, I won’t be able to replace this exact piece of sea glass.

I am falling in love with this jewellery. I love the idea of recycling sea glass. I have often picked it up and thought it was pretty. But, not knowing what to do with it, thrown it away.

This pirate glass necklace is very special. It is well made. I don’t worry it might break like I do with some jewellery. The black against the gold is stunning. The necklace has an unusual, clever clasp decorated with a little jewel. It is really beautiful and I love wearing it.
The extra special and clever part for me is an opening link at the front that lets me change the pendant. I have a couple of gold charms I bought on holiday but never put on a bracelet so have never been able to wear.
I have been able to wear them on this chain which has made me very happy.

I love this ring. Made with a lovely chunky brushed silver band it feels high quality. The blue of the sea glass reminds me of blue seas on a sunny day.
The setting is just that satisfyingly bit different and quirky.
I’ve had compliments from people who’s eye it has caught so obviously not just me who loves this jewellery.

We met Marketa in her workshop and picked out this fabulous piece. It's a paperclip sterling silver necklace with a light teal sea glass stone.
We originally had another piece chosen from the website but when my wife saw this one, she preferred it.
