This sterling silver spinning necklace with London blue topaz is my original design, worn by Niamh Algar on Playing Nice.
Handmade in solid silver, it features a central spinning bead that moves freely within the frame — a piece you can feel and come back to throughout the day.
Set with two London blue topaz stones, the colour reflects deep ocean tones, adding contrast and depth to the design.
It’s balanced, tactile, and made to be worn every day.
The Movement
At the centre sits a rounded silver bead that spins smoothly when touched.
The movement is responsive and satisfying — something you reach for without thinking.
The frame gives it presence, while the gemstones bring colour and light.

I am falling in love with this jewellery. I love the idea of recycling sea glass. I have often picked it up and thought it was pretty. But, not knowing what to do with it, thrown it away.

This pirate glass necklace is very special. It is well made. I don’t worry it might break like I do with some jewellery. The black against the gold is stunning. The necklace has an unusual, clever clasp decorated with a little jewel. It is really beautiful and I love wearing it.
The extra special and clever part for me is an opening link at the front that lets me change the pendant. I have a couple of gold charms I bought on holiday but never put on a bracelet so have never been able to wear.
I have been able to wear them on this chain which has made me very happy.

I love this ring. Made with a lovely chunky brushed silver band it feels high quality. The blue of the sea glass reminds me of blue seas on a sunny day.
The setting is just that satisfyingly bit different and quirky.
I’ve had compliments from people who’s eye it has caught so obviously not just me who loves this jewellery.

We met Marketa in her workshop and picked out this fabulous piece. It's a paperclip sterling silver necklace with a light teal sea glass stone.

Booblika engagement ring! Marketa melted down my mother-in-law's engagement ring and wedding band to make a stunning new engagement ring.
